OMI Products Pricing

When you subscribe to an OMI product on OUTSCALE Marketplace, you pay the software rate according to the pricing mode selected by the seller partner, as well as the rate of one or more OUTSCALE virtual machines (VMs).

You can subscribe to OMI products based on a free/open source, bring your own license (BYOL) or a paying offer.

You can estimate the cost of an OUTSCALE machine image (OMI) product on one or more virtual machines (VMs) before subscribing to it. For more information, see Estimating the Cost of a Product.

The costs indicated for the VM reservation do not include storage. For more information, see Block Storage Unit (BSU) et la 3DS OUTSCALE’s official price list.

Free/Open Source Offers

When subscribing to a free/open source offer, no rate applies for the product, and you only pay the rate of one or more OUTSCALE VMs.

Bring Your Own License Offers (BYOL)

For a BYOL offer, you subscribe to the seller partner’s software directly via their website, according to their pricing, and you use the product on one or more OUTSCALE VMs.

You are billed both by the seller partner for their software, and by OUTSCALE for the use of VMs.

Paying Offers

Subscriptions Offers

When subscribing to an offer on a recurrent basis, you pay the rate of the offer and the rate of one or more OUTSCALE VMs.

You are also subject to a commitment period defined by the seller partner for their software.

  • The software rate is fixed, regardless of the type of VM used.

  • If you reserve one or more VMs, the commitment duration and billing frequency of the reservation and of the subscription offer are automatically aligned.

Mistral LLM Services Offers

When you subscribe to a Mistral LLM service, you pay the price of the desired Mistral model and the cost of the corresponding OUTSCALE Cloud resources. The service is billed on a monthly basis from the date of deployment. Any month started is billed in full.

Hourly and Yearly Offers

Hourly and Yearly Offers per VM Type

When subscribing to an hourly and yearly offer per VM type, your commitment duration for the software determines your billing mode.

  • If you choose to consume on-demand, you pay the offer hourly rate.

  • If you choose to consume with a commitment duration of one year, you pay the offer yearly rate.

The software rate is determined by the selected VM.

The offer price is applicable for the VM type selected at the time of subscription. If your usage differs from the specified conditions, you will be billed additionally, per hour, according to the OUTSCALE public prices.

Microsoft Windows Licenses Offers

When subscribing to a Microsoft Windows license offer, the selected VM type determines the number of licenses you subscribe to.

If you do not reserve VMs, you will be billed for the number of Microsoft Windows licenses corresponding to the type of VM consumed.
