Downloading a Cluster Template

You can download the template of an existing cluster using Cockpit.

Downloading a Cluster Template Using Cockpit

  1. In the Projects dashboard, click the name of the project from which you want to download a cluster template.
    The project details panel appears.

  2. Click the Clusters tab.
    The list of your clusters created within the project appears.

  3. Hover over the row of the cluster you want to download the template from and click the IconDotMenu action menu.
    A drop-down menu appears.

  4. Click IconDownload Download Template.
    The DOWNLOAD CLUSTER TEMPLATE dialog box appears.

  5. In the Name field, type a name for the cluster.

    The name must be unique and must contain between 1 and 40 alphanumeric characters and/or dashes (-). The name must start with a lowercase letter and must not end with a dash.

  6. Select .YAML or .JSON next to the name field depending on the template output format you want to download.

  7. Click Download.
    The cluster template is downloaded.
