Deregistering VMs from a Listener Rule
You can deregister one or more virtual machines (VMs) from a listener rule.
This action removes the specified VMs from the list of target backends on which the listener redirects traffic. Once deregistered, they no longer receive traffic from the associated load balancer. For more information, see About Load Balancers > DNS Name and Listeners.
You can then register these VMs again with the same or another listener rule, or choose to delete the listener rule altogether. For more information, see Registering VMs with a Listener Rule or Deleting a Listener Rule. You can also display the list of VMs registered with your listener rules, or modify an existing listener rule. For more information, see Getting Information About Your Listener Rules or Modifying a Listener Rule.
