Creating and Publishing an Outsourced Product

As an OUTSCALE Marketplace seller partner, you can create an outsourced product and publish it on the Marketplace for buyers to view and subscribe to.

You have access to the My products table listing your existing products and their unique Product ID. Your products are either published or in draft state, that is with information completed, but not yet published.

  • You must complete and save all sections, in the order of your choice, to be able to publish your product on the Marketplace. Sections to be completed are marked with a ico Marketplace To Be Completed Tag tag.

  • When creating a product, you must provide all the information and documents in English and in French in the given tabs to be able to publish your product on the Marketplace.

Product Type Selection

  1. In the top right corner of the interface, click your username or email address.
    A drop-down menu appears.

  2. Click My products.
    The My products page appears.

  3. Click Create product.
    The product type page appears.

  4. In the type of products list, select Outsourced product.
    The Product creation page appears, with various sections to complete.

General Information

  1. In the Product creation page, click Access on the General information section.
    The General information form appears.

  2. In the Logo field, click Upload to add a logo for your product.

    • This logo must be under 2 MB.

    • We recommend uploading a transparent and borderless logo for correct display.

  3. In the Title field, type a name for your product.

  4. In the Categories list, select one or more categories for your product.

    You can select up to three categories for your product. The selected categories will be used to filter your product.

  5. In the Short description field, type a short description for your product.

  6. In the Long description field, type a detailed description for your product.

  7. In the Product key points field, type at least three key advantages of your product.

    You can add up to five advantages by clicking the ico Marketplace Plus icon, and delete them by clicking the ico Marketplace Delete icon.

  8. (optional) In the Media section, click Upload to add the desired JPG files to illustrate your product.

    • You can add up to six JPG files under 2 MB.

    • The recommended format is 1440 pixels by 1024 pixels.

  9. (optional) In the YouTube video field, type the URL of a YouTube video illustrating your product.

  10. In the Support information field, type the support information of your product.

  11. In the Update policy field, type the update policy of your product.

  12. Click Save.
    The form is saved and a ico Marketplace Completed Tag tag is displayed on the General information section.

  13. If you have completed all sections of the product and are ready to publish it:

    In the Product creation page, click Publish the product to publish your product.
    Your product is published on the Marketplace and can be viewed and be subscribed to by buyers. 3DS OUTSCALE is notified of the creation of the product.

Contractual Terms

  1. In the Product creation page, click Access on the Contractual terms section.
    The Contractual terms form appears.

  2. Read the business provider contract and accept it by checking the corresponding box.

    Once the contract has been accepted, you cannot modify your choice.

  3. Click Save.
    The form is saved and a ico Marketplace Completed Tag tag is displayed on the Contractual terms section.

  4. If you have completed all sections of the product and are ready to publish it:

    In the Product creation page, click Publish the product to publish your product.
    Your product is published on the Marketplace and can be viewed and be subscribed to by buyers. 3DS OUTSCALE is notified of the creation of the product.
