Creating and Publishing a Professional Service

As a seller partner, you can create and publish a professional service to offer support services to the users of your products, or products that are available on the Marketplace.

When creating a professional service, you must specify its general information, configure an offer, and provide your privacy policy.

Once your professional service is published on the Marketplace, buyers can consult its product page and contact you to subscribe to it, but the subscription process takes place outside of the Marketplace.

You can either associate your professional service to a product that you have already published on the Martketplace, or publish it on its own.

  • You must have created your showcase to be able to create a professional service. For more information, see Creating Your Showcase.

  • You must complete and save all sections, in the order of your choice, to be able to publish your product on the Marketplace. Sections to be completed are marked with a ico Marketplace To Be Completed Tag tag.

  • When creating a professional service, you must provide all the information and documents in English and in French in the given tabs to be able to publish your product on the Marketplace.

Product Type Selection

  1. In the top right corner of the interface, click your username or email address.
    A drop-down menu appears.

  2. Click My products.
    The My products page appears.

  3. Click Create product.
    The Create product page appears.

  4. In the Product type list, select Professional service.

  5. Click Confirm.
    The Product creation page appears, with various sections to complete.

General Information

  1. In the Product creation page, click Access on the General information section.
    The General information form appears.

  2. In the Logo field, click Upload to add a logo for your professional service.

    • This logo must be a file of 2 MB or less.

    • We recommend uploading a transparent and borderless logo for correct display.

  3. In the Title field, type a name for your professional service.

  4. In the Service categories field, click New service category to add one or more service categories.

    You must add at least one category, and can add up to four.

  5. In the Short description field, type a short description for your professional service.

  6. In the Product description field, type a detailed description for your professional service.

  7. In the Product key points field, type at least three key points of your professional service.

    You can add up to five advantages by clicking the ico Marketplace Plus icon, and delete them by clicking the ico Marketplace Delete icon.

  8. In the Contact email field, type the email address where you want to receive the information and subscription requests regarding your professional service.

  9. (optional) In the Media section, click Upload to add the desired JPG files to illustrate your professional service.

    • You can add up to six JPG files of 2 MB or less.

    • The recommended format is 1440 pixels by 1024 pixels.

  10. (optional) In the YouTube video field, type the URL of a YouTube video illustrating your professional service.

  11. If you have completed all sections of the professional service and are ready to publish it:

    1. In the Product creation page, click Publish product to publish your professional service.

    The publication request is sent to 3DS OUTSCALE and requires a processing time. The product is in Icon MKP EN Pending Tag status and cannot be modified until its status is Icon MKP EN Published Tag.

Offer

By default, a professional service is available to all buyers, meaning all buyer organizations including Nuage public (UGAP) organizations.

  1. In the Product creation page, click Access on the Offer section.
    The Offer form appears.

  2. In the Service type list, select a type of service, either One-time service, Ongoing service, or Custom.

  3. In the Pricing details field, type the pricing details of what is included in the rate of your offer.

  4. If you want to publish a professional service that is associated to one of your products:

    1. In the Compatible products section, select Yes.

    2. In the Compatible products field, select one or more products that you have already published on the Marketplace.

    If you want to publish a professional service on its own:

    1. In the Compatible products section, select No.

  5. Click Save.
    The form is saved and a ico Marketplace Completed Tag tag is displayed on the Offer section.

  6. If you have completed all sections of the professional service and are ready to publish it:

    1. In the Product creation page, click Publish product to publish your professional service.

    The publication request is sent to 3DS OUTSCALE and requires a processing time. The product is in Icon MKP EN Pending Tag status and cannot be modified until its status is Icon MKP EN Published Tag.

Legal

  1. In the Product creation page, click Access on the Legal section.
    The Legal form appears.

  2. In the text field, type the link to your privacy policy.

  3. Read the business provider contract for professional services and accept it by checking the corresponding box.

    Once the contract has been accepted, you cannot modify your choice.

  4. Click Save.
    The form is saved and a ico Marketplace Completed Tag tag is displayed on the Legal section.

  5. If you have completed all sections of the professional service and are ready to publish it:

    1. In the Product creation page, click Publish product to publish your professional service.

    The publication request is sent to 3DS OUTSCALE and requires a processing time. The product is in Icon MKP EN Pending Tag status and cannot be modified until its status is Icon MKP EN Published Tag.
