Creating and Publishing an OMI Product

As an OUTSCALE Marketplace seller partner, you can create an OUTSCALE machine image (OMI) product and publish it on the Marketplace for buyers to view and subscribe to.

When creating an OMI product, you must specify its general information, configure one or more versions and one or more offers, and attach or link the license agreement. You can also provide a template to automate the deployment of the product.

By default, OMI products are published in the cloudgouv-eu-west-1 Region and can also be published in the eu-west-2 Region.

You can configure an on demand, a free/open source, a bring your own license (BYOL), or one or more subscription offers for your OMI product.

  • An on demand offer combines the rate of the OMI product and the rate of the chosen OUTSCALE virtual machine(s) (VMs).

  • In the case of a free/open source offer, only the rate of the chosen OUTSCALE VM(s) applies.

  • In the case of a BYOL offer, the billing of the OMI product is managed by the seller partner outside of the Marketplace, and the rate of the chosen OUTSCALE VM(s) applies.

  • A subscription offer combines the rate of subscription and the rate of the chosen OUTSCALE VM(s).

  • You must have created your showcase to be able to create a product. For more information, see Creating Your Showcase.

  • You must complete and save all sections, in the order of your choice, to be able to publish your product on the Marketplace. Sections to be completed are marked with a ico Marketplace To Be Completed Tag tag.

  • When creating a product, you must provide all the information and documents in English and in French in the given tabs to be able to publish your product on the Marketplace.
